ANDREA FERLITO

Born in a family of golfers, he started to play when he was only 4 years old and became a professional player when still very young, in 1985. Over the years, he worked as a golf instructor with Golf Milan School, the club of Zoate, Golf Club Monticello and Golf Club Castelconturbia, to name a few. He was a teacher with the Golf Club Puntaldia in Sardinia for 15 years and he ran himself the Idea Verde driving range in Busto Arsizio for 18 years.

He also worked in collaboration with the Italian Golf Federation, taught National Classes for Ladies and was active with the Italian Disabled People Federation. He was also head coach of short-game schools with the Italian Pitch & Putt Federation in 2000.

A momentous turn in his career happened in the mid-1990s, when he met a paragon of US golfing, Chuck Cook (a world-known golf instructor and coach of several US players, including Tom Kite, Ben Crenshow, Lerry Mise, Pain Stuart). He became Cook’s assistant and learnt about his teaching methods in Texas, and later became his reference instructor in all golf clinics established in Italy.
